Two-way and two-way conditions function . ESC XME-15A XME-30A XME-60A XME-100A are one way ESC only. ESC XME-30AD XME-60AD XME-100AD are two-way series ESC 2.ESC application setting details: 1. --no need to set up Throttle itinerary ---- startup process pull throttle into the lowest position -- → ESC power connecting → Detect and get throttle signal one beep tone "beep" → 3 seconds delay → detected throttle lowest position → one beep tone "beep" again → can start throttle Moved.( start flying). this step total beep twice . there had light on ESC when each beep tone . If not detected throttle signal, "beep, beep and beep ... " continued beep tones are emitted. If the battery voltage exceeds voltage, "BEEP, BEEP, BEEP ." continued beep tones are emitted. the beep tone

2.need to set up Throttle itinerary ---- startup process pull throttle to the highest position -- → ESC power connecting → Detect and get throttle signal one beep tone "beep" → detected maximum throttle position, "beep" tone is emitted (one beep tone) → then pull to the lowest throttle position → 3 seconds of delay → "beep" tone is emitted once, Detected the lowest throttle position → can start lifting the throttle. three beep tone is emitted . Note : This method set up the throttle itinerary is not saved. throttle itinerary can be set up and saved permanently by our programm card. 3. protection treatment : low-voltage protection : The default is 5.5V. when motor work, when the battery voltage is lower than the set value of low-pressure area, immediately shut down motor or reduced motor power, that depends on the parameters, see specific set of parameters setting . Throttle signal loss protection : three seconds after loss of signal, the power dropped to 20% or lower, when Re-detected throttle signals then resumed immediately. If the esc is the model car ,--- after lost signal three seconds, immediately stop. over heat protection : When the power of the temperature exceeded 110 degrees Celsius, the power dropped below 50 degrees Celsius and running. 4, parameter settings : setting the following parameters : 1. Low-voltage protection values : range : 00.0V - 99.9V. defaults to 5.5 V. According to the batteries you are using , you can set up arbitrary value within this scope 00.0V - 99.9V ---as low pressure voltage protection voltage. 2. Brake : three options : no brakes, brake soft and hard braking. The default is no brake. Soft brake that is not continuous braking and hard braking is sustained brake until stop . 3. Stepping Angle : three options : low Stepping Angle , middle Stepping Angle , high Stepping Angle . The default is middle stepping angle.------- low Stepping Angle is for high inductance and lower speed motor, high Stepping Angle is for lower inductance and high speed motor. 4. Starting mode : three options : quick start, soft start, and supersoft start. The default start-up is supersoft. Quick Start is for samll inductance small motor starting load ; supersoft start is high inductance high motor starting load. soft start somewhere in-between. 5. Protection handling: two options : a) lower power b) immediately turn off the motor. The default is lower power. When low voltage or over-heat . Choose immediately shutdown, when the occurrence of the above phenomenon, immediately shut down motor. Choose to lower power: if too warm, Power will be reduced to 50% full power and or less ,temperature go down, power restoration; If the voltage is too low, output power will be reduced 50% and about 10 seconds later, shutdown completely. this step is great for the aircraft safety landing at a time. 6. PWM frequency settings : two options : 13KMz, 8KHz. Defaults is 8 KHz. it can satisfy most motor-driven. The higher frequency is considered for small inductance motor-driven. 7. Throttle itinerary setting : range : -39% - +39% default is +00%. The percentage of negative value can short throttle itinerary. The percentage of positive value can lengthened throttle itinerary . In default of +00% value, the system will be in accordance with the standard throttle itinerary . if it is in not default value, according to the value set processing. The ideal situation should be : When the throttle a maximum output ,power also happens to the maximum.
Practical applications, there may be two possible situation : First, if had maximum throttle, the power output has failed to meet the max., will call not a full-range; Second, if throttle had not target maximum , the output power is the maximum, we named it as -Throttle itinerary available . specific Set up ways : If meet first situation . we can set a negative percentage value to achieve the ideal; If meet second situation, we can set a positive percentage value to achieve the ideal . specific value, according to the actual situation, it is normally set up a smaller value can be amended to the ideal status. 8. Constant speed settings : the constant speed is for the helicopter setting only. 9. Starting impetus percentage settings : Starting force size establishment : Range : 00% to 49% , +00% is default setting. In +00% default setting, starting power will be decided automatically based on throttle position. . in not default setting , will process according to the value set. 10. Model choice : choice for the aircraft helicopter model or model cars. 11. Forward than backward set itinerary : car model for the forward and backward throttle ratio itinerary. Defaults to 50%:50%. 12. Truck set up three working methods : one-way, two-way and two-way conditions. 5. Programming card usage
(1), the panel set up card Map : Programming cards using 2X16 character LCD display, the interface is set up as menu , with four buttons that allow the visual display. revise the parameters of projects, after completed setting, through the 'write' buttom ,all parameters -- wrote transferred and permanent storage in our ESC. (2), the keys to the function keys : WR Key : When finished the new parameters setting , press the button, the new setting parameters could be transferred wrote -- the permanent preservation.
(3). A programming process.
1.Disconnect the battery. 2. --take out ESC PPM signal from the receiver , connect to programming card slot, pay attention to directions. 3. Connected to the battery. 4. Programming card automatically transferred and read all the parameters from ESC and display. 5. Through appropriate keys buttom modify all parameters value. 6. using the 'write' key, all new parameters -- wrote transferred. 7. according to prompted, according to the "confirmation" button again -- transferred new set parameters from ESC to programm card. 8. Disconnect the battery. 9. take out PPM signal line from programming cards slot,connect to receiver again. all setting is done now.
If you just want to check the parameters again , work from step 5 to step 8. If you want to confirm whether the new parameters has been saved in the ESC, work from step 8 to Step 3. ============================================================================
(4). Parameters setting: Programming card
1. OFFVOLT = 00.0V - 99.9V, low voltage protection domain value. The default is 5.5V. 2. BRAKETYPE : brake mode. Three options : DIS (no brakes), SOFT (soft braking), HARD (hard braking). The default DIS (braking). 3. ADVANCET : : Stepping Angle . Three options : LOW (low Stepping Angle ), MID (middle Stepping Angle ), HIGH (high Stepping Angle ). Defaults to MID (middle Stepping Angle ). 4. START : Start mode. Three options : FAST (Fast Start), SOFT (soft starter), CERYSOFT (supersoft and starter). The default VERYSOFT (supersoft and starter). 5. OFFTYPE : preservation. Two options : REDUCE (reduce power). CLOSE (immediate shutdown). The default REDUCE (reduced functionality) 6. FREQ = frequency PWM work setting. two options : 13KHZ, 8KHZ. 8KHZ default. 7. SCALE =- 39% - +39% throttle set itinerary. Defaults is +00%. 8. SPEEDFIX : constant speed set up. or , Reserve. 9. STPERCENT = 00% -49% Starting power installed. defaults is +00%. If the model airplanes(helicopter) do not need to set up parameters , the system can be processed automatically. If the car model, the best choice of a suitable power play to the best play to start the car performance. Meet the requirements of the situation, with the power to set up some small! With too much damage to electricity power transfer. 10. MODEL : model selection. Two options : CAR (truck). PLANE (aircraft), PLANE default. 11. NEUTRAL : advance and retreat of the throttle ratio itinerary set up .5 options : 70/30, 60/40, 50/50, 40/60, 30/70. The default is 50 / 50. The configuration used only for car model. so airplane and helicopter do not need to set up it 12. CARDIR : car model set up three working methods. ONE (one-way), TWO (two-way). (2), according to choose the way drawworks (CARDIR) : ● unidirectional (ONE) : only effective way forward.
